Publisher Description
War Without A Front is the Memoirs of A French Army Nurse serving in Indochina (Vietnam) from 1950-1953. As a young Army nurse, I observed firsthand the quagmire and horrors of war that France faced with a country fighting for their own freedom and independence. I was a member of ACM 507, the first Mobile Army Medical Hospital (MASH) working directly behind the lines to provide prompt and lifesaving medical care in a timely fashion. I feel this book give the reader a unique perspective of a woman's experiences and points of view during this long and difficult war.
